I believe such eye witness testimony because the same testimony is given today by billions of people in regards to the difference Christ has made in their lives. He is still preforming miracles all the time, He has in my life for sure.

Seems like he could do something about EB...like give him a softer head, so your message could penetrate.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Naw, he doesn't want people like me
or Bill Maher or Richard Dawkins. He
wants the early trained, the gullible,
the easily manipulated. The Church
does, anyway. Jesus stopped caring
about anything 2000 years ago.

Scott Adams made a point today that
I've made for years. That if you really
believe all that Xtionity teaches, that
there is a an actual heaven or hell and
you'll be in one of them some day, if
you truly believe it, you would be acting
in a way every day that assured you go
to heaven.

You would be following the rules in the
NT to the letter. Who does that? Nobody
I know. Oh. they mouth the words very
well, while they break almost every rule
every day. Because they hope it's true,
they don't really believe it. Not like they
believe the sun will come up, or gravity
will make you fall down sometimes.

Xtionity is like a game of Monopoly.
It has strict rules you follow if you want
to play correctly. If you ignore the rules,
it just doesn't work. Xtions ignore the
rules constantly, give lip service to them,
and go merrily about their lives. It's such
a joke for us looking at them from the
outside.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

A more ignorant post I have never read. You know nothing about "Xtionity", heaven, hell, sin, salvation or judgement. It's kind of funny in a "sick" sense of humor sort of way but is really more sad than anything else

Doesn't the Bible say that even if you think of a sinful thing, that you have committed it as a sin? In that case, not sure living a life free of sin is even possible as everyone will have a sinful thought in their life

Such nonsense

I have to agree with pew. The total lack of comprehension of Grace and Mercy just shows a complete and willful ignorance of Christianity. He doesn't know he is listing at windmills and grappling with shadows. I agree it is more sad than anything, especially since there have been many, many opportunities to at least grasp even the elementary aspects of this religion he seems to hate so much.

Padre - as Don Quixote is my favorite book, the phrase is "tilting at windmills"

I'll save you the suspense: No one can live a life free of sin. That is just undeniable reality and the bad news. God loves us even in our sinfulness and through Jesus Christ we are forgiven is the Good News.

Where it says in the 10 suggestions, you shall
worship no other god but me, to paraphrase.
There's something wrong here. What other
gods is he talking about, if he's the only god?

There are no other gods to worship, why is he
so worried. The problem is, it's Moses who
said this and not some god. And Moses
thought there were plenty of other gods,
bunches of them. So Moses would make
his god say something so ridiculous.

If it was a real god talking, he would have
never even mentioned silly other made
up gods as his competition. But this is
right at the top of Moses made up list.
Moses wanted his god to beat out all
the other gods. This whole list has the
stink of human ego all over it, a real
god would never make a list like this.
