It's negative, but most, and I mean the vast majority, of true believers will never find out. That is, you would realize your error only after you're dead. By then you can't realize anything anymore. Exactly! But I think for the believers, the actual Expected Value is far greater than the actual value they will receive - but they will not find out they are incorrect until afterwards... |
