Yes, 2021.

2020: massive wilfires in Oregon.

2021: record-shattering heat.

2022: Locusts?

You already have the locusts, they live downtown in tents that the city bought for them.

I don't know anything about that, but due to theft by the homeless and other Portlanders a local "everything" store, Fred Meyer, closed their main entrance due to people stealing and running out with impunity.

So much lawlessness, so little law in stumptown...

Turns out Sri Lanka is in an energy crisis brought on by trying to switch to green energy without first prioritizing 'energy security' ... a phrase we are going to see more and more. People aren't getting what they need for fuel. The ex-President was trying to flee the country and was stopped from doing so.

Sri Lanka and the European Union both adopted extreme Thunberg-level climate change policies and now a time of people-power reckoning may be upon them, writes Tim Blair

this article switches the blame to a failure to go fast enough with the green energy. Now I ask you, is such dodging by those responsible for mistakes being made with this switching to green business ... is that dodging going to work, are affected people going to buy it?

The far left running the US are pushing the same agenda. Some on the board even support it.

What really pissed the people in Sri Lanka off was the ban on nitrogen fertilizers. The rice crop has fallen by 2/3 and people are hungry and farmers are broke. They have laws in the works in California to ban nitrogen fertilizers. Time to pay attention to what is happening before it is too late.

According to reports from SkyNews in the United Kingdom, the country’s largest Royal Air Force base—RAF Brize Norton—has ceased all incoming and outgoing flights as severe heat has allegedly caused the runway to melt.

Europe is currently in the throes of a severe heatwave, and an Air Force base in the United Kingdom is witnessing some of the harsher effects of these increased temperatures. News broke Monday that the runway at Royal Air Force Base, RAF Brize Norton, melted under the intense heat plaguing the area. We’re told that RAF Brize Norton has a Business Continuity Plan with contingencies for events like this, and incoming flights to the base may have to be sent to nearby locations.

Overwhelming anecdotal evidence. I don’t even post half of it. 😀

So, do you have a better alternate explanation of what's happening, or do you deny overall climate warming?

The guy who says it happened before has not actually explained anything. What natural causes do you believe are causing it that have any factual evidence?

Quote:
What is the current level of warming?
Earth's temperature has risen by 0.14° Fahrenheit (0.08° Celsius) per decade since 1880, but the rate of warming since 1981 is more than twice that: 0.32° F (0.18° C) per decade. 2021 was the sixth-warmest year on record based on NOAA's temperature data.Jun 28, 2022
