Climate Change -- conspiracy theory or is it time we all drive a Prius?

NPR was comedy central today, all the doom
and gloom about rising oceans now that we've
backed out. So stupid, so ridiculous that people
buy this putrid garbage. A question I heard over
and over, that was never answered, how does
sending $100 billion a year to poor countries
stop GW, even if it's happening. Not a single
person would address it.

It was a dumb move by Donald. Hugely unpopular decision he made today (despite what the fervent righties in this thread want to believe).

I like when Donald does dumb stuff. His poll numbers go down (although, how much lower can they go???) and Donald gets upset and does stupid things.

At this point, I'm rooting for him to have a complete mental breakdown. I like seeing him suffer. Hopefully Comey's testimony next week can push him a little further down that path.... hehe

He didn't deny that climate change is possible.

He took us out of a ridiculous agreement that Obama made. There was nothing in it for us.

Should we combat climate change? Yep. This just was not the way to do it.

I didn't discuss the merits of what he did in my post at all.... Just that it was a hugely unpopular thing to do. Amongst his tiny base, it will be popular (as seen in this thread).

But this is a guy who didn't even win the popular vote, governing solely to his base is not wise.

Under the agreement the USA would have to pay India and Iran and cut our output by 20%, while China doesn't have to do anything. India also gets to increase coal by 50%,
while we cut it 80%. It's an insane deal
that has nothing to do with climate
change. The whole thing is STOOPID
anyway, we can control the climate
about as much as we can control the
orbit of the earth. It's a 100% political

gullible. Smartest thing Trump has done
yet, this will even get some Dems over

Trump thinks we can control the climate, he said so right in his speech. He said if the Accord went according to plan, that the temperature would be 2/10 of a degree lower than what is currently projected. That is 10% of the projected rise.

How so many are conned into giving up so much over this climate nonsense is amazing. It is religion for atheists. Anyone with any kind of critical thinking or intellectual curiosity should question GW. The world was supposed to be underwater by now when Bush43 killed Kyoto.
