From what I've seen of Asian wives, they get powerful homesick like all women tend to ... hard to keep them happy.

He was twice divorced, and presumably they were living in America.

All Asian cultures are very clannish, they think
they're the best. The Japanese are especially
bad, they don't allow immigration of any kind.
They still believe they are the one and perfect
culture. In some ways I agree. They have a lot
of positive things going for them.

In China they shoot the top guy if he fails
In Japan, they commit suicide
In America they get separation bonuses worth millions.

But I'm sure the lines will blur between cultures, and plenty of exceptions.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

The ship was updated with more rooms and they shop around to get safety inspections they want no matter the truth apparently.

I worked for the Navy, and I met men who were on their third Filipino wife. They would continually go back in search of their ideal. I had a neighbor who was on his third White Russian wife

I know a guy whose mail order bride showed up just this last year. I know the guy well enough to know she got the worst end of the deal. And I haven't even met her.

Yeah you could be right.

The problem with Korean culture is that they are highly reactive. They are not very proactive.

You can see it with their airlines as well as with their building structures.

In the 80's and early 90's their airline was a disaster with 9 hull losses and 687 dead. They had then actively tried to turn the business around, no more short cuts, hired Western pilots and are now amongst the best airlines in the world.

Same with their structures. They had the shoping mall collapse in 1995 which killed 507 people and injured 937. After the government found out that it was falsified building certificates that contributed to the collapse, they re-invented the entire process and now keep extremely close watch on such things........

Next will be the Korean shipping industry.

I just wich they would be more pro-active???

Proactive? One Oriental airline appointed a committee to study the issue of English Language proficiency amongst its pilots. Was that being proactive? The committee's most junior member was the only one who spoke English so just how "proactive" was it?
