Careful. Many substances are additives in a layman's mind but not in the eyes of the law. Think of fresh orange juice with its six ingredients that a layman would consider additives but the law allows in the product and does not require disclosure.

That is true.

But for cigarettes, it matters not.

The harm comes from tobacco and burning tobacco (naturally producing tar and carbon monoxide).

Like you say "No Additives" is nothing more than a cheap talking point for most products, but especially cigarettes.
