BOTH SIDES ARE BAD!!!!!! - RonC

Dude couldn’t get here fast enough to false equivalence that sh**.

You have a real problem. I pointed out a false statement and you come in with your stupid bullsh** right away.

There is no “false equivalence”—I made no statement saying Dems were the same or even close regarding the number of scandals.

You could not get here quick enough to lie about my post.

Why are you posting so much this month? Did your business go under? LMAO

No, but I did have to sell my piece of $hit condo in Michigan to keep me afloat.
As you know that life changing $7K PGP progressive kept me from getting my stimulus check last year.
Otherwise with my sub $75K annual income I would have qualified.
So I am doing what I can to survive.
Oh wait, that's you. You're the financial joke. LMAO

Exactly the kind of response I expected, guess I hit the mark. 😂

Two days ago, for the first time in history, the US began receiving emergency humanitarian aid from foreign nations, when 75,000 pounds of formula from Germany landed in Indiana. The ‘Berlin Airlift’ in reverse. The first shipment under ‘Operation Fly Formula’.

This infant formula shortage started a year before the Abbott recall on Feb 17.

The retailer out of stock rate was 3% in Jan. 2021, reached 26% by Feb.6th, and was still increasing when Abbott announced the recall, which ramped it up to 40% by May 23rd.

The dems just voted to give the FDA another $28 million to pay salaries for more meetings and coffee and doughnuts.

The administration only began taking it seriously when infants started being hospitalized for malnutrition due to the formula shortage. Can't have any dead babies before the midterms.

Obama had a few scandals. Not many were charged; that probably does not reflect on anything but his DOJ.

Petraeus plead guilty to mishandling classified information.

The IRS, GSA, and a few other letters had incidents that resulted in resignations for cause but somehow no one was charged.

The AG was found to be in contempt of court.

Anyway, they did some stuff and mostly got away with it.

They weren’t completely crime and corruption free.

Yes, others had more issues and more charges. “None” is an incorrect answer for Obama.

It wasn't about scandals; it was about indictments. Obama had none. Every administration has problems whether indictments or not, so that's not even worth pointing out.

I saw an interesting piece on this shortage. WIC is actually part of the problem. Once a formula maker becomes the WIC vendor for the state it is a road to a de facto monopoly in that state. As usual, concentration in an industry means this kind of thing when even one thing goes wrong.

I think your source missed this one:

https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2015/04/23/401672264/gen-david-petraeus-will-be-sentenced-thursday-over-secret-notebooks

I am not, as one poster incorrectly and ignorantly tried to insinuate, comparing the actions within any administration. I am only saying that the contention that there were no indictments during the Obama Presidency was incorrect. Both the Carter and Obama administrations were very clean when comparing indictments.

If the article is implying only that no one was indicted and is not considering a conviction as more serious than an indictment, then it could be “correct”… but that seems like a roundabout way to make a number lower regarding people charged, indicted, convicted, etc. That implication may make the number “zero” if true but it would be falsely representing information. Convictions are a step or two above indictments.

Horrible...and by report the shooter was another eighteen year old.

Due to the disintegration of social norms in this crumbling vale of tears we call home, I submit schools need to update their curriculum to "the four R's: readin', writin', 'rithmatic and reloadin'."
