The Sea People were several fleets lead by four princes which devastated shoreline civilizations in the Eastern Mediterranean during the Late Bronze Age. They are now known to have been from Eastern Turkey due to the recent translation of a 95 foot frieze originally found in Eastern Turkey but now destroyed. A Luwian linguist was finally able to translate the frieze. Its unfortunate that all the scholars who originally worked on the project are now dead. |
