Why do you only mention Fox? Why would Fox be more a candidate than: CBS NBC Netflix Hulu A&E Others Why do you keep mentioning Fox? Do you think there are only 2 networks? Why would Fox care most? CBS/NBC seem better fits and have more hours to fill. The President is a fink. |

Oh, they are devastated over this. An exec at Disney said that before today the word 'Roseanne' was like an echo in the building, it's all you heard. Having the number 3 show in all of TV, when the top 2 are sports shows, is every networks dream. It's a cash cow that keeps so many other shows afloat. And now it's gone? They are suicidal at ABC. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Oh, and according to Roseanne, anyone who eats at Chik-fil-A deserves to get cancer. Surely ABC was aware of all this crazy and they decided to roll the dice anyway. What could possibly go wrong? Their decision today was partly based on today's racist Tweets, but also probably based on the assumption that at some point in the future (tomorrow? next week? next month?) she'll say something even crazier. |

What do I have to do with anything? I never watched the show, but I can use a TV Guide to find what I want. Are you basing the programming decisions on an entire nation just on me? Weird. I would say whoever has the "One Day at a Time" reboot would be the best candidate.
Why? It was highly rated. They canceled over a simple tweet. Snowflakes. Did ESPN cancel the NFL for racist and disrespectful kneeling by players? No, they kept their high rated program because it made money. The President is a fink. |

Hated her stand up comedy, could never figure why her show was so popular. Lots of fat redneck women out there, I guess, and they identified with her. I thought it was funny that it drove the Left nuts that she supported Trump, that was the extent of my involvement with Roseanne. Here's a post I made last year: "Rosanne is a bonafide admitted nut job, she's mentally ill. She lives in or lived in a fantasy world. She made up a childhood of parental abuse and incest that never happened, and as her show got more successful, she turned into a raving loon off camera. Tom Arnold finally had enough and got out of there. Go to wiki and read her personal life info, and it only skims the surface." If you take a risk, you may lose. All the actors except John Goodman came off like amateurs reading from queue cards. Well I guess I can except Rosanne because her style is so strange. She delivers every line in the same half shouting nagging mom voice no matter what. It's not really acting but that's her shtick so she gets a pass. Ratings were good so I guess a lot of people disagree with me. Still wonder it it had steam another strong season. The mind hungers for that on which it feeds. |

That is always hard to say. Most time reboot/reunions do well at first because people just want to see what happened to their beloved characters. But they slowly remember why it got old. I would have made the characters turn out rougher than they did. Leave Dan dead, thought that might have left a big hole in things. DJ I Would have had done some time for a small time drug pinch, now living on the unemployable and unhousable edge. Darlene I would give 1-2 more kids with at least 1 more daddy. She just looked like she would end up that way. Jackie divorced and bitter, the days she could find an easy hook-up at the bar long in the past. Now, that might have had legs, though too much grit for broadcast. The President is a fink. |
