Trump is super-smart. .

Shhhh, that's a super secret, like it was
with Reagan. I remember we were told
all during Reagan's years that he was
a drooling super idiot, feeble, senile,
an idiot. Yet when he gave speeches,
he seldom looked at notes and seemed
just fine. The press explained that he
was an actor and he was 'acting' when
he gave speeches. In reality he was a
moron in private.

Funny stuff..

I guess they are just not petty and spiteful like the dems.

Then why are you complaining?
If republicans think Kerry needs to be investigated, go for it
There has never ever been an investigation in DC that I have been against
I support every single one regardless of Politics
Are there investigations you are against due to politics? lol

In reality at least half the time it is better to let people misunderestimate you. I remember when I was getting laid off from a mortgage job. Rates went up, volume went down, out we went. My boss' boss tells me we have to chat. I sensed it was over. They take me to a room and introduce some young woman "from HR." I know it is over.

So I get the lecture about how business is slowing. I've heard it all before but might as well be polite. Berneke had just spoke about rates heading up days before. So I say, "Yeah, I knew things would slow when Big Ben spoke, and I don't mean Roethlisberger."

My boss' boss looks at me and says, "Huh?" I explain the Fed and rates and the market. Now she really has a look.

Keep em guessing.

I've talked about this many times. Never
wise up a chump, it does you no good
and just confuses the chump. Never
tell anyone anything they don't need
to know. Especially people close to
you.

I got yelled at for missing something that caused a loan to need to be warehoused (ie: held by the bank and not sold.) There was hell to pay, and they talked to me like a child about warehousing. I got the message.

So a month later I find that a Life Estate was missed, which is I cannot explain how huge. I take it to my boss's assistant (who was the daughter of the aforesaid boss' boss!) She did not listen at all to what I was saying, and told me to basically "STFU and not stop the line." I kicked it up to a VP level, and nobody saw what is a huge problem. Very, very basic. Oh, well.

The other daughter was on another team. They had lived in Vegas and the other daughter was explaining how you can vulture slots and table games are bigger losers. I tried explaining and her reply was, "don't tell me, I USED TO LIVE THERE!"

How glad I was that all 3 were married to someone else.

Nothing, I should buy them all a round of beers. But marry these women, buy a Chrysler product, take insurance when the dealer shows an A. Do these things and don't cry to me.

The one seriously thought vulturing slots was a better play than AP on tables. Even when I tried explaining a bad EV on BJ vs a good payout on slots. Her reply was over and over "DON'T TELL ME, I *LIVED* THERE!"

Of course, when your college courses include the Theory of Relativity you cannot lose and I cannot win. Eventually I did all I could to avoid the daughters.

You eventually learn that the majority
of people want to be teachers, not
students. They resent being told anything
because they already know everything.
Again, wising up chumps generally just
pisses them off, that's why I quit trying.

This trio also had this attitude that they were something special because they were married. It is hard to explain, but they thought that fact made them better than the rest of us.

Brings new meaning to the question, "why do fathers cry at weddings". Just so darn happy somebody else is taking over for them.
