Report I saw said all pax will get full refunds, not just those who got sick. It's a huge ship, think we're talking around 6000 people. They returned a day early. I suspect the entire crew is scrubbing the ship stem to stern so they can get back out. I wonder if those inspectors are on furlough. Seems more likely than not, since both the CG and FDA are restricted. Be interesting to see if they can turn it around in time for 5pm departure tomorrow (scheduled). Even in normal times many cruise ships play hide and seek with the inspectors who have taken to using food dyes to make under refrigerated food unusable. in previous incidents, clever passengers stole rolls of toilette paper promptly. |
