I have to imagine every country on the planet has their military looking into and actively have plans regarding defending and attacking via the internet Every country's military have probably hacked into all kinds of sites checking and researching a likely opponents security and testing their own securiyy Just common sense Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Why does anyone think it would be news. It would be news if a major country wasn't spending a lot of money on protection and hacking of their on line presence it might be what saves the world. Of course. DDOS attacks go on all the time, domain name attacks, timing codes, etc. Many military and industrial devices have no security features. For instance a drone usually accepts as gospel the strongest GPS signals that receives, which is why the USA boosts their power ten fold while a satellite is over Syria. The GPS disruption was recently estimate at a billion dollars a day. Many infrastructure systems have been visited by foreign hackers, power grids, dams, industrial processors |

Haiti is in last place. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

A good vacation travel agent would never send somebody the Dominican Republic. Especially if this is the 1st time outside the country. So many wonderful safe developed islands to pick from. Dominican Republic is a very poor under developed country. Prices are probably real cheap compared to other islands. Maybe that's the big attraction.
