Seems she stopped her car to save some ducklings. Stopped it in the left lane to "save" some ducks in the median. This means it had to be similar to a USA Interstate. Any sane person knows you do not stop a car in traffic, if your car stops you avoid getting out, and in the left lane for crying out loud? Says she was a Financial Analyst, she must have had an MBA. The President is a fink. |

| Fleastiff Member since: Oct 27, 2012 Threads: 62 Posts: 7831 | This stuff is common with turtles or stray dogs crossing the road. Sometimes a five year old rescuing a turtle becomes a victim. Motorists see a car ahead of them is stopped but that doesn't necessarily mean "slow down". |

Why does she think they won't make it the rest of the way? And she was gonna herd the ducks into her car? LOL! Ye ever try to catch a duck? Ya know what will happen if you DO catch the duck or one of the ducklings? "Appreciative" is not the response you'd get from the mother duck.... Ignorance is bliss and knowledge is power. But having only some facts can get you into trouble! |

"Anthropomorphism" is the problem. People think animals can't fend for themselves and want the same comforts humans have. Like when you give a dog the run of the house yet she just lies in her cage because dogs are "den" animals and like the comfort of the cage. In this case she thought the ducklings could not make it on their own I guess. She did not realize mother duck has a brood of 5-6 at a time because most will die before they can reproduce, that is nature at work. And of course ducklings are cute. She is what society has become, too much more good intentions than common sense. The President is a fink. |
