Just came from downtown where gas at the Chevron said 2.97. I hear it is .25 cheaper in Bullhead city.

It is definitely coming down. I would expect to see some stations in the $2.50 range in the next few weeks.

We are still paying around $3 a gallon in Nevada.

I just paid $3.49/gal here in Washington. That's down 20 cents from a month ago.

Gas is solidly in the $1.90's today. In NY
and NJ many places are in the $1.60's.
Calif is $2.50's.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I think you are wrong about NY. High tax state. Here in suburban Buffalo in the $2.65 range.

Lets have some fun. Lets keep
track of Beijing Biden's gift
to public, rising gas prices.
Low prices are a boon to
ride share drivers and truck
drivers. High prices cut deep
into profits.

This thread was started in
middle of Barry's 2nd term
and gas was $4 a gallon
here. In 2018 it was down
to $2 a gallon and has
remained there under
Trump. This is from today
on Trump's last full day
in office. Lets use this thread
as a poll for Beijing Biden's
short time in office.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

The Biden Effect. Oil stocks have taken a beating over the past five years, partly due to fracking which made us energy independent. Price per barrel of oil is up 73% since election day. Shell just boosted their dividend, and the post Covid boom hasn't even started.

Good times ahead for Russia, Iran and Venezuela.

Welllll.... Biden won't let me have access to my China stock, CHU (China Unicom, a Hong Kong based cell phone carrier). I bought it years ago, and now it is illegal for TD to allow me to trade it. So be careful on China.

I think your thinking on oil is likely good. Wife had me buy a bunch of lithium stocks as soon as GM and Ford announced that by 2035 they will be all electric. Step daughter had me buy 'green and clean' energy stocks. B in law suggested MJ stocks after Biden won the election.

All doing well so far (too short term to really matter). I picked Draft Kings, as I think as soon as NY starts using them they will skyrocket.

I do own oil stocks too, as I agree with tanko that short term will do well.

DK skyrocketed last year. Sadly I ran a covered call strategy so missed the major gain but still made about 30% in a few months.
The President is a fink.
