My ex-wife sought revenge on me several times and my reaction was to completely ignore the attempts and live a good life. Revenge might feel good, but as Wil Wheaton said to Sheldon Cooper when Sheldon was trying to exalt revenge during a bowling match, "It tells me that I am living rent free, right here (points to Sheldon's head)." The need to exalt revenge is your problem. It is far better to just take a deep breath and move on. |
