Church, by using the word 'dogma', or dissing various Philistines hither and yon. [g] Samson slaying a Philistine: I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

I don't think that is surprising at all. Most people don't know the church's stand on original sin, let alone Mary's lack thereof. I used to teach mathematics, and I made a comment once about Judas. Most of the kids didn't know who he was. |

Or they thought you were talking about Judas Priest. |

I do remember Calvin Coolidge went to church once and a reporter questioned him about the Sermon. Coolidge replied "The Sermon was about sin". When pressed for more details, Coolidge replied that the Minister was agin it. |

Awfully Gay, if you ask me. Two naked guys who work out a lot. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

You're right; that is amazing! I just now asked my religious friend what the Immaculate Conception means, and she got it wrong, too. |

What the what? That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. I always thought it referred to the birth of Jesus. Catholics certainly don't go out of their way to correct this misconception. How do they know this, exactly. They can't even prove sin exists, how can they prove someone is born without it? Wow, my mind is blown. That whole religion just got elevated to fairy tale cult status to me. Just make it up as they go along. Unbelievable. Literally. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

We're only left with the big picture then and it's a personal decision what to feel beyond what you know about truth. Maybe jesus has a spaceship but does it matter. |

Thank god it was written by man. It would be terrible to think the world is insane. We know men are, but god too? If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
