White Castle

| DRich Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 51 Posts: 4961 | Rumor has it that a White Castle hamburger restaurant will be opening on the Las Vegas Strip inside a casino. Does anyone realize how big this is going to be? I predict that this will be the highest grossing fast food restaurant in the country. I was never a big fan of White Castle, but many people are including all drunks. There will regularly be lines 30 minutes long to get these hamburgers. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

I've had them maybe twice but have to agree with you. Many people will go because there is no WC at home, others for the late night lush rush. Put it next to the Burger Bar and let people choose a Yugo or a Cadillac. The President is a fink. |

I visited my sister in Indianapolis 10 years ago, stayed four days over Thanksgiving weekend, and snuck out to eat White Castle three times! I regularly buy the frozen 6-packs from WalMart, having them fresh will really be a treat. Yeah, I know...I'm pathetic. |

I've not been to an actual White Castle in decades and actually thought they had gone out of business. I did see boxes of them being sold in WalMart some time ago but never bought any. Don't think the experience would be the same without that onion saturated steam issuing from the vent. |

The White castle will be in the casino and not in the new complex they are building. The Outback restaurant in Casino Royale was the busiest in the country. I can't imagine that the White Castle won't be the busiest fast food restaurant in the country. The latest press release I saw said White Castle was shooting for a November opening. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |
