Consider Match.com. There is a new internet paradigm for dating. With so many career women nowadays there isn't time to meet others face to face. Dating sites cut out a lot of the hunting and sorting that was formerly the dating scene.

The other option is to go overseas. Members of the WoV community have found spouses internationally. I don't know how old they were though.

I have tried match.com a few times over the past three years and have received a total of 3 emails initiated by women (however, 2 of those were actually trolls merely writing to tell me the "recognized me" and were NOT interested LOL)
I had written hundreds of women and maybe received 10 responses…
out of those 10 women…met only 1
that 1 had decided to post photos of her sister rather than her (she "Catfished" me)—she told me that she knew that once I met her I could overlook my lack of physical attraction to her (hey honey, how about not overlooking YOU LIED).

So, online dating is no longer my thing (not like it ever was, apparently)

And, as far as real world dating…I am home alone most days/nights although I do frequent the gym and, up until recently, Atlantic City (but, hitting on someone in a casino never seems to be a good idea (either a hooker, party girl drug user or ends up being a lame attempt at long distance)

So, I basically used to throw myself pity parties but now I just take it for what it is - I can do what I want when I want. Even the lack of sex is no big deal, hell, I rarely even masturbate anymore.

After debating with some divorced friends and acknowledging among us the noticeable drop off in sexual activity's from when they were just dating their spouses.
It was theorized that after losing multiple houses and or retirements [mine included] that it would be much cheaper to eat every meal out and buy every sexual favor. Does that seem realistic?

In for a penny in for a pound here. I do not agree at all with prostitution being illegal. If not for my believing that history was caused instead of accidental it might be harder for me to rationalize why it is legal for me to sell vertebrae/disc's or even sell blood, but not sex. I mean come on, who's idea was that?

I am all for happy marriages, sure it happens, but it is difficult for me to differentiate the difference between marriage and prostitution. Especially when if a marriage comes to an end one has to pay for "services performed", forever. So why is there a monetary value placed on those services [alluded to], and if someone pays up front that is considered a crime? There is no such thing as free *****, sometimes you just don't know the price.

Or as my current owner says "at what price free".

Marrying versus renting to me is the same as buying versus leasing a car.

I am not saying whoring is bad, quite the opposite. My belief is there are other ways to sell oneself other then sexually. I don't think that how each of us chooses to sell ourself is anyone else's business. For an exampble look at the corporate whores in congress. How long before Holder gets on some board for 7 figures? The trick is figuring out who they screwed, not if.

Sounds about the same as me. Although I knew a guy who said he hooked up left and right from it. Reply, reply, reply, nothing. No longer waste my time. Count my blessings that I am not paying for a divorce.

I have thought this way for quite some time. However, due to prostitution being illegal, I would not partake (plus, the idea of all the other encounters they have had ups the probability they have diseases (not saying some random woman I would date would be disease-free but I think the odds would be better)). I would not risk my career for an arrest to get laid. Like I also stated, my interest in sex, having not had sex in a year, has wained to the point of not even self-pleasuring.

They do not call it the world's oldest profession for nothing. The stupidity you see in guys trying to get laid is amazing. And their logic is they wanted to get laid. Keeping prostitution illegal is about being able to get guys to commit crimes and be beholden to those in power perhaps?
