Things that make you think "WTF??"

Yesterday evening a coworker attempted to check the balance on his debit card at the ATM. after inserting the card, typing the PIN and selecting "balance," the machine replied "Error: card does not exist."

s/he should have then exited, reentered card/PIN and withdrawn max from the non-existent account :)

maybe the atm machine was a fake to clone his card and get his pin

I have two cards being replaced due to the Home Depot data breach. They told me specifically it was HD.

Should of gone to Lowes those days, I guess.

A few moments before I extracted some cash from that ATM. I think it was working fine.

Here's another one:

Our office is located on a rather long block. At one corner stands a 7-11 which has been there for years. Late last year another 7-11 opened in the next corner. There's a small drugstore midway between the two, which also sells soda and snacks. Now another brand of convenience store (Oxxo, a local brand) is setting up near one corner in the opposite side of the street.

How convenient.

There used to be 2 Starbucks on the same corner in downtown Vancouver, kittycorner to each other.

It's not unusual to get a small cut on the back of a hand or some part of the forearm and not notice it. Sometimes you just scratch too vigorously and break the skin.

But yesterday as I was getting into my car for the drive home, I suddenly noticed four rather long, thin red lines running from a bit above the wrist to the knuckle of my index finger. I don't recall scratching there, or brushing against a rough wall, nor falling down or anything else that would explain it.

But from past experience I can tell you I've never seen any cat look guilty.
