Thye're baaack....

My very lasting love affair with podcasts really began with a science show on the radio called "El Explicador." It ran at 7 or 8 pm daily, but I hardly ever caught it while driving home. When I discovered a quasi-official podcast archive of it, I bought a cheap MP3 player and have never looked back.

Alas, nothing lasts forever. The show was dropped by its radio station. The team, made up of Enrique Ganem on the air and his wife Maria de los Angeles Aranda helping to put it together (they're both scientists, too), kept on making the show and uploading it to the web. It was so seamless, it took me days to figure out it was no longer on the air!

Eventually this proved unsustainable, as they had to make a living. So they started a subscription service for the podcast. I decided against paying for it (long story).

Well, around April this year they hooked up with another radio station. The free podcasts are back, and I have about a hundred shows to get through :)
