Sure you do, it's the same reason
Whoopsie Goldberg got an Oscar
for 'Ghost'. The same reason GM
started promoting certain people
to management positions in the 80's
whether they deserved it or not. None
of them earned awards or promotions,
they were in the right place at the right
time.

Most of us have seen it and know it, few will admit it.
The President is a fink.

David Attenborough.

One of the rare greats in front of and behind the camera.
Loved him in front of the camera for the Great Escape and Jurrasic Park
Loved him behind the camera - Ghandi.
Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World"

The pope has announced that the Church is
going after Global Warming this year, it's
the number one item on the agenda. Say
wha???

He must not think Catholics have enough
to do if he wants to bring that dead horse out
and beat it some more. One of his Catholic
critics says:

“He seems to have a good heart and some good
Catholic instincts, but theologically he is a train
wreck—remarkably sloppy."

How about the pope coming out in support of gays.
Also considering a change to how the church handles divorce and remarriage.
What a guy.
Cant believe he didn't win the Nobel Peace Prize.
The committee gave it too early to Obama, with Francis, what are they waiting for?
What a common sense progressive.
Fascinating that this is the guy the bishops voted for yet they have a hard time getting behind him regarding gays.
He is so humble, Bishops live better then him in their expensive mansions.
Pope Francis is the man, the right man in these times.
A future Saint. I have no doubt.
Count this atheist a big fan :-)

What I don't understand is — how can the rules of the Bible be changed by man?

He can't change the Scriptures, but the fact that what he is saying is considered as being against the Bible is evidence of how ignorant the world is of Scripture.

If the word of God is written in the Bible padre, how can the Pope, a mortal man, create new morals for the Church?

He's not creating new morals, everything he is saying is authentically found in the Bible.

How come it wasn't "found in the Bible" by previous Popes…?

Good one, counselor. Never thought of that.
For the same reason slavery can be argued
both ways using the Bible. It contradicts
itself all over the place.
