Just a whole lot of hot air all the time

The whole religion thrives on hot air,
it's all they have. There's no 'there' there,
it's in the same realm as the Easter Bunny
and unicorns. And every bit as valid..

Why do you think FrG ignores me now,
he realized he can no longer defend
the indefensible. It's the first step to
stumbling onto the truth..

I can't believe this, but of course I do.

Vatican Will Stop Selling Cigarettes

"Selling discounted tobacco to employees and pensioners, without the increasingly stringent taxes imposed in surrounding Italy, has long been a source of revenue for the tiny Vatican City State. Many people in Rome have bought cigarettes through acquaintances at the Vatican."

The Church will do anything to make money,
they have always been this way. That cigarettes
kill people has been known since the early 60's,
but why let that stand in the way of profit.
Such hypocrites, the mind boggles.

This is why sin is a meaningless word.
The pope is saying that the media
'sins' when it brings up old scandals.

Pope: Media Sins by Dredging Up, Sensationalizing Old News

VATICAN CITY (AP) ó Pope Francis is criticizing journalists who dredge up old scandals and sensationalize the news, saying it's a "very serious sin" that hurts all involved.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/pope-media-sins-dredging-sensationalizing-old-news-171809101.html

Just like everybody else, the pope
thinks sin is something he doesn't
like or approve of. He has no idea
what the word means because it
means whatever you think it does
now. It no longer means an offense
against your mythical god.

When the pope sweeps something under the rug, that is where god wants it to stay.

LOL! That's exactly what I was thinking.
It's already been discussed, how dare
anybody bring it up again. We were
caught, we begrudgingly said we were
sorry, now the topic is closed.

It doesn't take much imagination to
envision how things were run when
these religious zealots had all the power.
It's frightening to think about.

The story from a site that isn't brietbart:
https://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2018/03/14/world/europe/ap-eu-rel-vatican-doctored-photo.html

Quote:
The missing content significantly altered the meaning of the quotes the Vatican chose to highlight, which were widely picked up by the media. Those quotes suggested that Benedict had read the volume, agreed with it and given it his full endorsement and assessment. The doctoring of the photo is significant because news media rely on Vatican photographers for images of the pope at events that are otherwise closed to independent media.

Proud subscriber to NYT and WaPo here. Trump's awards WERE the fake news, not whatever he called out.
