Poll: 0.0% Of Young Icelanders Support Creationism

I wonder how many believe "God" inserted souls into two animal-like humans, who then used their inferiors as breeding stock for the real human race.

Could any of you Godless heathens tell me whether or not you put your hand near your heart and recite the "pledge of allegiance", I wanna get baseline here.

I refuse to say the "under God" part.

So do you try to time it while watching to see if others are moving their lips and jump ahead, [in cadence] to the indivisible and justice part, or skip the rest after the Under God part?

I haven't said the pledge since grade school
I too would leave out "under god" (always lower case for an atheist)
But then as an adult I have never said the pledge

I would simply pause at that part but again, I have never said it as an adult
Do you repeat the pledge a lot?

Probably not a dozen times since grade school, just guessing? I have went to borough/ city meetings in the past and they would start out meetings that way.

I was surprised to see the quote above by Wiz, it is from 10/14?

I think I originally posed the question because a musician I go listen to starts out, or usually during the gig either plays the national anthem, or recites "the pledge"? Everyone in the room leaps to their feet obediently, and methodically swears allegiance to the republic. I look around to see how many lips are moving and check if anyone is holding back when it comes to the god word. It's like everyone is in a lip trance, in perfect cadence , as if they really really mean every word.

I say the 'under god' part because
as an atheist it doesn't mean anything
one way or the other. Atheism is
not a religion, it has no rules.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.
