Allen is quoted as saying: I mean, if I was caught in a love nest with 15 12-year-old girls tomorrow, people would think, yeah, I always knew that about him."

Maybe the magazine misquoted him. But if they got the quote right, who the hell is fantasizing about orgies with 12 year olds???

I'm a terrible hypocrite because I enjoy many (though not all) of his films. ...fantasize about some of today's 12-yr-olds myself

sorry, maybe that's the first thing that popped in my head. I'm sure I'm the only one. Biology and all, ya know.

I'll prolly have to delete this tomorrow when I sober up

Whether inappropriate or not, it's a good point.

It is scary out there. From 18 to at least 26, and even here at 34, it's damn scary.

I remember last year a girl at the casino hit on me. So I was 33. How old was she? Well, worked at the casino, so she's legal. Had a kid, that implies age. Had a relatively decent position, that implies age. Drove a late model, bigger SUV, that implies stability, which comes with age. So you go and check her out.

Creep the Facebook, and there she is with her kid. Go back a bit and the kids an infant. Back a little more and she's pregnant. Back enough to just before she's pregnant... and there she is at... HOMECOMING?

She was 18. Had no idea.

And the fake IDs? When I drink at college bars? I keep my hands on my beer. There's at least a couple 15yr olds in there, and there ain't no way to tell. No way, until 5-0 is at your door the next morning. No thanks.
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.

Okay. Its a joke. And its a bit funny too. I'll give you that.

Remember decades ago when needles were being found in coke cans? Now these were hypodermic needles of a type used by diabetics, but one strange publicity and money seeking character took a can of coke to his local cops and claimed to have found a sewing needle in it. He obviously had not listen to the newscasts very closely.

Unfortunately when it comes to decade old rape claims it ain't so easy to disprove them.

These accusers get a shot at publicity a chance to rejuvenate their careers, interviews with the media, can file claims for splitting some of his deep pockets or at least get "go away" money.

Jay Leno? His track record during the Jon Benet Ramsey murder was pretty dismal too.

Hey, maybe the Ramsey murder would be a great case for the descriptive DNA technique. I think I remember they found unidentified evidence of someone they never ID'd.

The greatest burden has been the BPD. Everytime Lou Smit, his brother or the Public Defender of El Paso County (and some others) tried to obtain a dna expert the BPD contacted the expert and warned him to steer clear of the Intruder Did It crowd of nutcases, thus the JonBenet Ramsey Foundation was unable to get phenotype descriptive data as to facial features, complexion, etc. The BPD had a vendetta right from the start once the Ramseys left town and then, after constant urging of Fleet White, went on CNN in Atlanta. Many people suspected Fleet White because his behavior in Atlanta was atrocious (I believe two hosts approached John Ramsey at his time of distress to have FW moved out of their homes). I don't think Fleet White had any involvement in the crime at all, I think he was just a rich bore.

My favorite suspect, a man from Marietta, GA with a history of brain injury and severe depression as well as severe obsession with a certain topic that involved the number 118,000 and who had made a death threat against John Ramsey two years prior to JonBenet's death left SAIC after a career as Network Administrator in the Defense Intelligence Support field. He died in the Carolinas early in 2014.

If you have access to the old uunet archives owned by google you can look up his postings on bandwidth signature use and particularly on the ATL section. He used wine and beer terms for his moniker. He had sanitized his website after the murder, deleting his cartoons of a woman being strangled by a long rope and having a boot print on her. Also deleted was a knife wielding stalker peering in a window that showed Christmas cards on the mantlepiece. His Libertarian writings embraced the concept of all is fair in response to an unprovoked attack and he considered himself to have been attacked on that 118000 issue he was obsessed with.

"These brand new claims about alleged decades-old events are becoming increasingly ridiculous, and it is completely illogical that so many people would have said nothing, done nothing, and made no reports to law enforcement or asserted civil claims if they thought they had been assaulted over a span of so many years."

You're sooooo desperate to have the old
man exonerated, is he your personal hero
or something? If he even did ONE of these
women like they claim, it's too many. Don't
you see that? And we all know he did at
least one. Or two. Or ten..

If good men don't protect our women, who
will.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Heck, No. Didn't see the quotation marks in my post? That is Mark Singer, his lead attorney.

If good men don't protect the falsely accused, who will.
More and more accusers come out of the woodwork but none of them ever went running into the hallway blubbering about rape?
More and more accusers say the whole Hollywood entertainment industry knew he was a rapist but they, young hopeful starlets, didn't?
Any cheap shyster out of the Hollywood phonebook would have stopped chasing an ambulance and would have sued someone rich and famous at the drop of a hat, but for thirty years no one ever dropped a hat in Hollywood?

All I want is a factual analysis in a calm manner, preferably in a court room rather than a tabloid.

ON EDIT: Or even a factual analysis here. Too many people seem to think that when "even the Rabbi goes running by announcing he is on his way to the creek to see the fire breathing dragon" the dragon does indeed exist. Sorry. It doesn't. And the two merchants who made up the story to get the noisy brats to go elsewhere were fools to put up the closed sign and go running down to see the dragon. Its simply that for many of you, some starlet with fame and dollar signs in her eyes is your Rabbi.
Or mere numbers play the equivalent role. You would never purchase a roulette system from one tout, but if it got the publicity that this Cosby character had...you all be lining up to buy the system.
