This Judge needs this "scorched earth" policy - for all those who do not know - I was a part of the anti-divorce court corruption documentary www.divorcecorp.com
I will not be silenced about judicial impropriety merely because of possible reprisals and threats

I do recall that now, good on ya Ace.

I personally just am not surprised by impropriety's, at all.

I would ask to meet with the opposing lawyer, say in a bar over drinks.
And ask him WTF is going on? You have a witness and the lawyer lied. WTF is going on?

All part of the "old boys' club" in that particular county - it is a county where I do not have more than one case every few years

"Who said buttface?"

"I didn't say buttface! Did you say buttface?"

"No, I would never say buttface!"

About the level of professionalism of that judge and opposing counsel....go get 'em.

Shouldn't the judge excuse himself from the case if he is friends with one of the attorneys? I'm not at attorney but this doesn't sound kosher to me. Keep us posted with what happens.

I just got the transcript - I am trying to determine through the ethics committee if I can post it (since it was "on the record" in "open court", I should be able too but want to be sure

That may not be possible in a small jurisdiction.
How big is the courthouse Ace? Tons of lawyers in that town or just a few?

In NY it goes by county, not town. And this is the State trial court - not a town or county court.
There are 6 Judges just for divorces.
