A movie would have to be 8 or 10 hours long to cover everything that's in a book of course that's impossible so the movies are almost always not as good as the book

Oh really?

I thought "The Lord of the Rings" series which followed "The Hobbit" equaled or surpassed Tolkien's books.

"Gone With The Wind" and "To Kill a Mockingbird" equaled or surppassed the original books as well.

But yeah, these are exceptions to the general rule.

Holy crap, knife fight at the end of episode 6 of Reacher is classic Reacher. I watched it twice, it was like a choreographed dance. How do you get a physique like that without steroids. You probably don't.

I don't care if actors use steroids.

I would be glad if the Olympic type athletes and triathalon types would all experiment with hgh or other muscle, neuron building ingredients and record them all, report the affects. The way it is now, those that make millions in the NBA or NFL do mostly zero for me, except that we've learned some good repair surgery's and technics. Sports medicine.

I'd like to know what hormones or additives, vitamins, drugs whatever they've come up with, of their own free competitive will, that might fix some of the things I've done to my body, and maybe yours? That would make these pro athletic events a lot more valuable to me. Let me know how you put this body back together before I started breaking it to bits.

Pan? I know several definitions, but not one that makes sense in this context. Reading comprehension leads me to believe it's the opposite of "recommendation".

The definition of "pan" meaning "to criticize severely" is from 1911, probably from contemporary slang expressions from the notion of being roasted or fried.

The core meaning of the word goes back over 1000 years to Old English.
