These are $3000/mnth for 300 square feet. You get a Murphy bed like on the Three Stooges!

And you can eat at your desk!

Little kitchenette on right, two burners and a microwave.

You can't expect much kitchen for $3K / month.

I always think of three stooges when I think of Murphy Beds, but here is Bud Abbott

I had a Murphy bed in an apartment in
Calif and really liked it. You never have
to make it up, just shove it up in it's
box.

How desperate do you have to be to live
in a shitty city like NYC that you have to
pay 36K a year to live in a walk in closet.
The couple times I've been there I
couldn't wait to leave. It makes me
claustrophobic with all the tall buildings
and the traffic and people everywhere.
Plus everybody is in a constant bad mood.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

There is something crazy about it all. I can see if you work on Wall Street or at Sterling-Cooper-Draper-Pryce and your industry demands it. But in general I think part of the problem with the city is it attracts all of the "socializer" personalities who just have to be with the hip crowd. So it throws off the balance of society and gives you a city with too many attention whores.

I knew a woman 20 years ago who never
cooked and used the oven for storage.
It looked stupid then, it looks stupid now.

I think I could have lived in that when I was in my early 20's.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

It's not the size or location that would bother me.

Neighbors. If they're quiet great. If not, sucks. Bad thing about most apartment living.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Micro apartments in NYC are an innovative solution to the city's housing crisis, offering compact yet functional living spaces for those looking to maximize city living on a budget. These smaller units are perfect for single professionals or minimalists who want to enjoy urban life without the high costs of larger apartments. However, the limited space can be a challenge for some. Finding the right balance between affordability and comfort in micro apartments can make a big difference in the NY Rent Own Sell market.
