Billionaire Eva Rausing, clutching a crack cocaine pipe to the last, succumbed to “dependent abuse of drugs” inside a filthy room at her luxury London mansion, a coroner ruled Friday.

Rausing, 48, had cocaine, opiates and amphetamines in her blood when she died last May — although her decomposed body wasn’t discovered until two months later.

The official cause of death was cocaine intoxication and a heart attack caused by years of addiction, said deputy coroner Shirley Radcliffe.

Rausing was killed by “the dependent use of drugs,” Radcliffe concluded. Her remains were discovered in July, buried beneath a heap of garbage bags and bedding in a squalid room scattered with drug paraphernalia.

She was holding an aluminum foil pipe used to smoke cocaine in her hand when she died.

American society is desensitized to the point where people are afraid to say any person is behaving badly; that anything is good or bad; or make any judgment. We ignore bad behavior by saying, "but he is good!" as though personal behavior and standards do not matter. We make fun of people who are trying to do or act good. If you doubt this, see which QB has more negatives about him: Michael Vick or Tim Tebow.

I will keep holding to the idea that the USA has experienced major societal disruptions every 80 years or so and the next one is due about 2020. They last a decade or so, but after them a new direction can be found. Something is due to snap.
