I think so! Some were selling some kind of newsletter but I didn't want to get caught into sales pitch so I only looked for about two seconds. My takeaway from that two seconds was that it was some kind of advocacy newsletter for the homeless.

My experience is that the majority of the long term homeless have some mental deficiency that keeps them on the street. Mental or not, I don't give cash to anyone who asks, since it most likely will go to drugs or booze.
