I probably made that drive 50 times. If I had lived 20 million years ago it would have only taken me 3.5 hours to drive it. LOL At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

I was really impressed by Reno when I visited The casino area sucks. Rundown with desperation in the air. But The river area nearby is really beautiful with many fine dining restaurants. I really liked Reno. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

I really like the city of Reno and it is the type of place I would like to live if it didn't get cold. My daughter went to school in Reno so between that and work I did for IGT and Bally Systems I spent quite a bit of time there. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

odiousgambit Member since: Oct 28, 2012 Threads: 162 Posts: 6002 | over the last decade or two we were finding out they are discovering a lot of water in our solar system, everywhere, including on the moon and even on Mercury. I was imagining the water originated from comets mostly.
by just heating these beads to lukewarm releases the water the article cites an estimate that there are billions of gallons tons of water available https://www.theguardian.com/science/2023/mar/27/glass-beads-on-moon-surface-hold-billions-of-tonnes-of-water-scientists-say I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |
