Two OSU students died a few months ago after ingesting fake Adderall pills laced with fentanyl. While the Biden administration is looking the other way, and not a single politician from any party, is talking about it, the drug cartels are smuggling hundreds of thousands, and possibly millions, of rainbow colored fentanyl pills into the US, aimed at children. They're not trying to hook the kids on drugs. They're trying to kill them. This is chemical warfare by China to undermine the US economy, by killing the youth of America. 'Thousands of ‘rainbow fentanyl’ pills resembling candy seized across US' 'More than 15,000 of the candy-looking pills were discovered strapped to someone’s leg at the Nogales Port of Entry in Arizona on Wednesday, Customs and Border Protection said.' 'It was the second day in a row that pills “with the appearance of candy” were discovered. Customs agents previously confiscated 250,000 rainbow fentanyl pills, as well as 11 pounds of heroin and 10 pounds of methamphetamine.' 'Teacher says student suspended for handing out fentanyl-laced candy at metro middle school' |

Kudos. There should be an easy slang term for combining the words sugar & poison. |

I first heard about the collapse in birth rate about 20 years ago. It was not talked about except among real thinkers. The past year or so I am seeing it hit the fringes of more mainstream (though not lamestream) outlets. YT channels, a few conservative speakers, and the occasional news story. Current USA total fertility rate now 1.66 and falling. Lets round down to 1.6 that will probably be happening the next decade. That does not sound bad, but here is what it means. 100,000 people this generation becomes 80,000 next generation. A tad under actually as more males are born than females and that number assumes 50/50 split. We are already seeing colleges closing, a leading result. One a week in the USA. Car market will be next thing. Along with everything else. The generation after falls to 64,000. Then just over 50,000. In three generations, the population will halve. But it will be faster as the TFR will keep falling. We have about 20-25 years of good economy left. By the late 2040s things will be stagnant, always. See Japan since 1990 for what it will become in the USA and every advanced country. Asia is further along and will be in collapse by then. After the 2070s it will be constant depression, for 100 years. Gen X will not see much of the bad. Gen Y will see the start. Kids born today will be walloped by it all. The bright side for them will be inheritance. Since the 1700s parent's estates have been divided over several kids, diluting land and money. But then people will have aunts and uncles who never had kids, giving them their estates. That first generation will live off that wealth. This is worldwide. My theory is that once TFR falls below replacement level it never recovers. Lots of places may bottom around 1.0. By then societal norms will make reviving it next to impossible. Talking 2-3 generations. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

I think women losing basic rights will happen faster that what you're estimating. We'll have a good indication of how fast by watching what happens to the UK. It's happening much faster than I was estimating. |

Countries with populations much smaller than ours are much "better:" how can it be that the Scandinavian countries with less citizens are happier, healthier, individually wealthier and politically much more sane than We the People? New Zeaand is small and isolated yet Kiwis have a quality of life and a society better than ours. One differene is that they seem to be able to unify in support of common goals, a thing we haven't done for more than fifty years. |
