The one person from Portland I knew lived there for 20 years and finally left in 18. The homeless addicted bums were everywhere and it drove him out. The constant sight of them was driving him nuts. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

This is exactly the reason the 2nd amendment was put where it is. We are armed to the teeth to prevent exactly the thing that's happening. Yep, when you initially said that things will get ugly in the 2020's, I was thinking the same but I thought it would happen maybe in the 2030's or 2040's. But you're 100% right. This decade could very well be the decade that decides the fate of this country. What's scary is how many people are begging the government to take away their rights. They've been doing this for years begging the government to take away their 2nd Amendment rights and also to take away their money via higher taxes, BUT NOW these idiots are taking it to Orwellian levels, and they're willing to give up pretty much everything all because of the Chinese virus! It's sad man because no outside force was able to defeat the US. The enemy that will defeat us now is the enemy from within. 😔 |

OK AZ, I'm calling your bluff! As I've mentioned before, I may be an "expat" soon, but in either Naples or The Villages. What possible country would you think retiring to is a better choice than my two choices? |

There are places in the Caribbean that I would consider. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |
