Atheism is simply rejecting the popositon of God, there is no philosophy to be hollow. Claiming to follow a certain philosophy (and then not when it's inconvenient) is what makes something hollow. Atheism cannot be hollow because there are no claims made (just a rejection of claims).... |

The thing that makes something "hollow" (in a social sense) is a shell with no substance. Atheists don't make any claims. There is no atheistic philosophy to be hollow. It is simply not believing the claims of others regarding God(s). Calling atheism a hollow philosophy is like calling abstinence a kinky sex position.... |

Atheists don't say anything about life. They just reject the belief in God. As for athiest societies, I assume you mean state sponsored Atheists (like some of the Soviet Bloc)? Nobody here supports forced Atheism... I do support secular countries (like America, which was the first in the world, and still one of the only)..... Secular countries simply mean no State religion, but freedom of religion..... |

Some people want atheism to be a religion. If so, I want to be able to organize our people in large organizations making money in a non-taxable status. Atheism is not a religion, and those people are wrong. There are no common beliefs or principles to "organize". Atheism is just the aspect of rejecting a beleif in God. |
