Very famous concert among Deadheads. 1972 was a very good year. Deadheads judge years just like wine I've listened to that show many many many times Audio recordings been around since the show took place I actually had tkts to the 20th anniversary show on the same field. It was eventually canceled because Jerry fell ill. I love seeing the band in Eugene. Some of the best concerts I've ever seen. It's like a homecoming because many of their friends moved to Oregon for the cheaper land. Of course the shows I saw were at common sense Autzen Stadium instead of that field. When I went back to Eugene last year, made sure to see the Ducks at Autzen Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |
