Now marijuana is legal for private use in sin city: when will the casinos allow players to blaze while playing, and will the casinos give out free joints / dabs to encourage profligate casino play the way they do with booze? Heck, take it a step further: with magic mushrooms being legal in Oregon, what about legalizing them in Nevada and allowing players to play slots while tripping? Comp them with magic mushroom laden slices of pizza. The problem is one it still violates federal law, until that changes I do not see it happening. Second it conflicts with the trend to non-smoking. Could happen after this, but areas would need to be restricted. Casinos already give out cigarettes. The President is a fink. |

| Gandler Member since: Aug 15, 2019 Threads: 27 Posts: 4457 | Legal stuff aside (assuming it becomes Federally legal), I would find it hard to believe smoking marijuana being allowed (maybe in designated rooms), but edibles and drinks on the floor I could see, but smoking has too much secondhand smoke. |

The problem there is edibles are too easy to overload on. If you smoke it you will get sick if you try to inhale too much. But you can eat too many edibles before you feel an effect. The President is a fink. |

Last time I went to Vegas, there was a drug dog on the first floor of the elevator at the hotel I was staying at. The issue with pot, is if it gets into the blood stream, it can show up on a random drug test by an independent employer. It's well known that a person can drink more alcohol without feeling effects while using mushrooms. The downside is there's no alcohol buzz. A general rule to abide by for health, is no mind altering drugs. But I go further. I don't even use vitamins because I think they alter our taste buds. So cravings can be different depending upon what our body needs. I will use headache medicine rarely. But definitely nothing into my body I don't know what is inside. |

The Nevada Gaming Commission will never allow it as long as it is against federal law. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |
