Submarine expert paints a picture of how the Titan sub failed.

Quote:
Martín’s study used parameters including the submersible’s weight, thrust, speed, mass, acceleration and the coefficient of friction of water against a falling body to calculate the submersible’s descent.

Martín speculates that since the Titan submersible lost communication with its support vessel at 11:15 a.m., and the electrical went out, it nose-dived for between 48 seconds and 1 minute and 11 seconds before imploding.

During this time, the crew members would have lost their balance and possibly fallen over each other. The sudden loss of propulsion likely caused the 400 kilograms (881.84 pounds) of passengers in the front of the submersible to destabilize the vehicle, forcing it to descend “like an arrow.”

Martín’s report also highlighted the importance of stability in the design of tourist passenger submarines. A well-designed submersible must have a center of gravity located within the “underwater hull” for the vessel to remain stable.

The only way it would descend that quickly would be after the destruction and all air was out. I read one transcript that the boat was in communication with the sub for close to an hour after it started submerging. According to the analysis based on that transcript it was descending faster than expected. I believe it was scheduled to take close to three hours to get to the wreck but it was on a two hour pace. According to this transcript the people on board said they hear some unusual cracking sounds and were starting an ascent.

What Americans look like in every single state.

It must have hit a little too close to home the Biden censors have already had the page removed.

I was sitting in Starbucks this morning on one of their long benches they have and a big heavy guy came and sat beside me. I think after he got within a couple inches he just let go and plopped hard. The whole bench shook. I wasn't really paying attention to him before then, didn't look up but muttered a bit too loudly "Earthquake!" without really thinking about it. I'm pretty sure he heard it, but he didn't say anything. I kinda felt bad about it.

It seems like now that you're in high school you should leave that Junior High stuff behind you. Just saying.. It's fine to mock people behind their back but not right in front of them, that's just in bad taste. I do love watching YouTube shorts where they have those accident videos and fat women are on rope swings and grade school swings and trying to do things that you just shouldn't do when you're 150 lb overweight. I laugh out loud sometimes

At home, I almost never sit in an easy chair or a chair with arms. I don't know if this is why I never have back pain, but I choose to think so.

The recent batch of Lefties are said to be much more anti-free speech

And now we have RXwine's feelings about it just to show what side he is on
