That's good, but you need to take into account all the active space probes orbiting the sun and planets at various points. Right now there are quite a few of those.

Finally, while the sun is big, it's not that big. Your intertemporal-interstellar transmitter would need to be very close to the sun, as well as in opposition to the Earth, as well as mindful of all active probes.

Of course, maybe the timing works out to all of them being sent before the 1800s CE.

Speaking of simulations -- I expect somewhere in the future there will be an entire world of AI beings run by super computers which people can tune in to and watch like a reality show. There kind of is now, but at supercomputer level the difference will be the sophistication of the entire reproduction.

You'd be able to move through their time, or into their past and watch various developments, at a level of detail only a real deity could normally hope to possess.

Thus far the Steelers owe their appearance at the divisional playoff game more to Buffalo and Cincinnati than to their own efforts.

I actually changed the channel when the Bengals intercepted a pass with under 2 minutes to go. Timeouts or not, they should easily have been able to run off the clock, simply by making a first down. I'd no idea that 1) the Bengals would fumble the ball and 2) the Steelers would advance 30 yards on an incomplete pass.

On a related note, if the Vikings cut their place kicker, the city of Seattle ought to provide him with a high-paying job out of gratitude.
