It's getting warmer

I read that Europe is getting warmer twice as fast as the rest of the world.

This leads me to wonder when we will see changes in where Europeans live: I assume as the south gets hotter that people will move further north.

Might Scandinavia become the promised land and Spain, Italy the other southern countries become also-rans?

And in America might Canada become preferable to the desert SW and the gulf area?

As a native and dyed-in-the-wool New Englander, it boggles my mind that people willingly live in the American Southwest. The warning signs are there that they will run out of water, and within a generation.
