I don't have any that are published, as yet. The lottery report (about 25% done) is basically an update to this:

Interesting findings, so far. I think it's kind of telling about the haves and have nots. I remain fiscally conservative, but there's definitely a disparity between the Dow Jones economy and the economy for the majority of us, and if discretionary spend on the lottery is any indication, the economy for the majority of us isn't going so hot. Either that, or the lottery is slowly falling out of general favor; it could be a bit of both.

Why do people play lottery and casino games with a low RTP?

In a word...."HOPE."

Everytime a ticket is bought, every time a player makes a bet there is HOPE.

I find little else in America these days that gives me hope, and couple hope to the simultaneous jolts of fear and greed every time you bet and you've got quite the cocktail.

I suppose some people must be losing hope, even hope that a massive lottery win will help them. I'm pretty early in the alphabet, but the metric that I created (loss per resident) is very interesting, so far.
