I saw all of these movies in the theater (some multiple times), except Zootopia (saw it on a plane) and The Secret Life of Pets (have no intention of seeing it). “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

I think the writing in animations may benefit from the longer process in constructing the film scene by scene (or frame by frame) "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

So even 25 years later you can still watch the movie again, even though the CG images have long since been surpassed. I kind of feel that way about King Kong. It is still compelling despite the archaic F/X. |

I give all the credit to Steve Jobs and John Lasseter at Pixar for raising the bar for the writing in animated features. |

Pinky: Who are those people in the corner no one pays attention to? Brain: they're writers, Pinky. As TV has gotten really episodic, that is maintaining continuity and stretching storylines for several episodes, the importance of good writing has risen. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Yeah, it's called Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope. Massive Rogue One spoilers: Every good guy dies at the end, so I don't see a sequel happening. The ending of Rogue One curtails into the beginning of A New Hope quite nicely... “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |
