If I'm ever a 14 year old girl, the target audience for this flick ...

I think Twilight was aimed at 14 year old girl, but Wonder Women seems to be more of a family film.

audience for this flick, I'll see it.

You're not a middle aged gay man, but you watch Downton Abbey on a loop, so what do you care about being in the target audience for something? Lol

Downton is one of the most historically
accurate Brit dramas ever on the air.
Right down to the silverware placement
on the dining room table. The producers
were meticulous in maintaining the
accuracy to the point that a well known
and well paid historian was on the set
at all times. In fact, there's a documentary
about what went into the historical part
of making Downton that's as fascinating
as the show itself.

I've seen the trailer. It's aimed at teenage
girls. Many of whom came dressed as WW
to the theater. I rest my case.

I thought almost no movies are aimed at old codgers. Young audiences bring the money, or their friends or even drag parents along. Also more likely to want to see a movie again, though I don't know how any kid can afford it these days.

I didn't really mean old codgers, I meant, old one-foot-in-the-grave codgers. That's what I meant.

I cant think anything more trifle or boring as getting excited over the accurate placement of silverware.

Including the highly accurate water bottle on the mantle.

I actually really liked Downton Abbey. But I'm gay. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Alot of movies and tv shows focus on accurate depictions of accents, topics of conversations, prices of goods, style of dress, architecture and decoration, vocabulary, etc. Its not just Period Pieces.

Several 70s movies could stand to be less accurate. Who wants to look at polyester clothes and people formerly with crewcuts with badly styled long hair?

And "That's groovy man." said more than 3 times ever is good enough.
