Are they fooling anyone?

If you worked at a place where two people were secretly carrying on a relationship -- is it ever really a secret for very long? My general experience says no -- that people around the workplace catch on to even the slightest things, that go on. I suppose if you never ever do anything suspicious at work, perhaps no one knows, but I think that rarely happens.

Although I do think it's true that some people never catch on, usually a few have.

I voted "they know and they talk," but I think that's partly because they talk whether they know or not.

People know although I am usually late to notice. I steer clear of office politics to the point I often don't know about the legit relationships.

Its who you know (talk to) that precludes the answer. Like may dad used to say.." If you stick your nose up enough peoples asses, eventually you smell something more than just shit".

Every office I've worked in has at least one individual who is up in everyone's business and, apparently, living to share the latest development with everyone else.

Interestingly, when two such individuals are in an office, it creates quite a competition. Sort of like two chickens competing for the best spot to sun themselves each morning.

This is one of those things...While everyone becomes aware of the relationships that, well, everyone becomes aware of, You never hear about the relationships that you never hear about.

I am exactly the same way. I do my best to avoid gossiping at all costs! Bad for business!
