The Gay guys gave up after 2 blocks and were eliminated from the show. I don't get it. How can you be 30's and not know how to drive a stick. The other 3 couples figured it out, but the Gay guys, who seemed quite bright, didn't even want to try. They just quit and wandered away. Very scary. If you take a risk, you may lose. Remember 3 speed shift on the steering wheel? That was our old chevy station wagon. The last car I rented was a new Fiat 500 with sports mode. It was an automatic with a kind of odd shifting setup, but not hard to figure out. Also, nothing really caught my attention about it, until I got into it at night. The freakin electronic speedometer is surrounded by a plethora of electronic icons which all light up at once when you start it. I burst out laughing because it looked like some sort of NASA space console. I'm not even sure if all those icons are doing anything, or just there to hook in add on features. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

I was in my 30s before I ever drove one. I knew the theory, but the chance never presented itself. Buddy of mine was in the same boat. His wife was selling hers so the last weekend she had it she turned us loose with it in the countryside east of Buffalo. It was good timing because two weeks later I was put in charge of a fleet of 15 or so stick-shift vehicles. I learned fast. During the period I even had to learn on a U-Haul with an "Italian-style" gear pattern of 1st in the lower instead of upper left. Pete Campbell I was not! The President is a fink. |
