Asimov's definitive, and brutally honest, volume of autobiography (his third *), was called "I, Asimov," playing on the title of his early and well-known anthology "I, Robot." (No idea when "I, Claudius" was published). But then it's a little-known fact the title for "I, Robot" was not Asimov's idea, but his editor's at Gnome Press. In fact, the very title had been previously used in a short story by Eando Binder, which Asimov was well aware of. (*) Asimov once claimed he was his favorite subject, therefore the three volumes of autobiography. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | Part of the reason is, my 'artist' son in law is a rabid Apple fan, that's all they own. I have never had a single complaint with non Apple products, so why would I need it. My brother in law is always talking about his Apple crap, like it's a status symbol. Phooey on that.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
