Germany and the UK have promptly grounded their Airbus AD400M Atlas military turbofan cargo planes that compete with the Boeing C-17.

The crash took place in Seville but the grounding will undoubtedly affect the plain-marked model in the UK that was scheduled for acceptance testing to be completed by May 15th.

Seville Crash: Acceptance flight by Turkish Airlines. Reported unidentified mid air mechanical malfunction serious enough for them to attempt a landing in a field, but plane hit an over head power line on its approach to the field. Believed 9 SoulsOnBoard.

Airbus fuming at Spain's failure to share black boxes or black box data.

Airbus certain plane and engines perfectly fine and that a "software installation error" caused the fuel management software to turn off the fuel supply to the engines shortly after take off when power is critical.

Accident profile must have matched some prior testing situation resulting in Final Assembly Data Quality problem.
