I've had car insurance every day of
my life for 50 years. It was State Farm
for all those years until 2008. Then
all of a sudden, for no reason, SF
doubled my rate. No accidents, no
tickets, no explanation.

So I've had Geico since then. One
thing I like, road service needs no
money from me. They contract directly
with Geico, SF didn't do that.

I had a pedestrian accident is 96, I
was hit by a truck. SF paid everything,
then sued the other insurance co
to get their money back. They even
paid me for the work I lost.

How does it work when you're driving
another persons car that you're not
covered on. If you're hurt, does your
insurance co pay your bills? In MI
it's no-fault; it doesn't matter who's
at fault, your insurance co pays your
bills.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I think it is on you no matter who's car you are driving. It should not matter who owns the car, the driver is at fault, not the property.
