It's easier for totalitarian leaders. Can you imagine the stink it would cause if a US president decreed only favorable coverage in the press, made it a crime to make fun of him, erected statues of himself all over the place, or in the modern version used social media to brag about himself?

Most US politicians, never mind the president, know to respect the sensitivities of the public. Trump is just clueless enough not to understand this, besides being a first order narcissist and egotist.

It's things like this that people like about
Trump. He always has somebody sing the
national anthem before his rallies. Yesterday
the show was late in starting and the head
of it told Trump they they had canceled
the anthem because of time issues.

To heck with that, Trump said, and got the
girl and put her in front of the mic and he
put his hand over his heart and she sang
The Star Spangled Banner to a roaring
crowd. Would Hillary have done that? Hell
no, she always does exactly as she's told.

Trump is a natural leader, he's always in
charge, he gets it done one way or another.
This is what's terrifying to the people who
are used to pushing the president around,
to make him do their lobbyists bidding. Trump
is his own man, he'll have none of it.

The word is alpha-male.

Hillary is now sending Elizabeth Warren out after him. Trump called her Pokahatus because of her claiming to be an Indian to get affirmative action treatment way back when. Democrats and the media do not know how to handle it. They are used to the Republican just taking abuse and never returning fire. He just keeps going at it harder and harder.

Hillary has made the decision not to engage him. She says it is to stay above it all, but really I doubt she can come close to handling him. So far most fun election of my lifetime!

Obama was asked today about the 'scathing' State
Dept report on Hillary's email problems. He literally
laughed it off and changed the subject. He actually
laughed, it's like he was saying 'UhUh, I ain't gonna
go anywhere near that thing'. Even the MM is upset
over the report, calling it 'devastating' and saying
Trump is doubling down on calling her 'Crooked
Hillary'. Sanders is almost orgasmic, which is kind
of disturbing..

I find it weird how they seemingly would rather sleep with him than Hillary. Now THAT would be a choice!

So many comments about how old and ugly Hillary is, while they ignore his puffy orange face and cotton candy hair.

Oh yeah - he's an "alpha male." That trumps every criticism, apparently.

Never mind the fact that Ivana says he often had trouble maintaining an erection (pre-Viagra). I'm sure that's a common alpha male problem.
