A west coast start-up crowdfunded a giant fighting robot, then challenged Japan.

And they accepted.

Ooooh, the carnage. I would pay money to see this.

Oh no, there goes Tokyo!
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Tokyo? More like, "There goes Oakland". Unfortunately, to many that's not so big a loss. hehe.

The American bot looks pretty clunky. It's covered in rust....

Where's Face? America needs him!!

For what? I might could fab a righteous hammer for it to wield, but Good Enough LLC does not deal in robots. Or anything remotely close to anything involving precision =)

There was a similar show that ran regularly for a bit where they did this same thing, though the bots were much smaller. I think the ultra heavy weights might have been a few hundred pounds. Most others weren't much bigger than 1/24 - 1/12 R/C cars.

I'd watch. It'll probably be on YouTube in no time. Need some details before I start placing bets ;)
Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it.
