AS the book was published in 1953, tens of millions of people have read it, so it is not exactly a secret. But I will put the photo in a spoiler tag to protect the small number of readers who want to remain in the dark. In the book, Karellen, leader of the Overlords, did not reveal himself until they had ruled over Earth for 50 years. I am not sure how they handled the timeline in the miniseries. Overlords look like demons  |

I tried again and made it another hour. Extreme boredom set in, and I turned it off. It did have an ominous first five minutes. I don't remember it from the book. |
