It is amazingly loud. |

Almost frighteningly loud, as playing it at full chat is certainly above the hearing damage threshold. Bluetooth, too. I tote it in the mail truck with me and it churns out streamed music just as easy as that. At a reasonable volume, it'll last 8+hours on a charge, though that drops to about 5 if you blast it at full volume. If I absolutely had to complain, its cylindrical shape causes it to roll about the dash when stopping or turning. Other than that, 5 stars. Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

Thanks for that recommendation. I see it is weather resistant, and recently marked down to the low $60's. |

I can carry it anywhere I need it, and it even fits in the pocket of my robe along with the iphone. It's probably lousy for music, but I don't listen to music. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Oh a tallboy is a type of beer can.... we always called the big, narrow wardrobes in my parents house the 'tallboy'. And when you said 'tube', I was thinking of an huge ancient tube amplifier :) It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.... it's called Life |

FrGamble Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 67 Posts: 7596 | This thread is kind of an answer to prayer because I love music and was thinking about trying to put together a nice sound system so that I can just sit and relax and listen to quality sounding music. Someone suggested recently to me that all I need is a high end headphones but that doesn't seem right does it? I have a good record player right now but that is about it. Looking for cost effective receiver and speakers. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

You need a receiver for a record player. More and more people have digital storage of music, which could easily fit on your phone. All they need is a fanciful speaker preferably with bluetooth connection. http://www.cnet.com/topics/speakers/best-speakers/bluetooth/ |
